Message I don’t think I should post this in “Technical” for I may be too stupid at this point to understand the answer over there so here’s the story!

1990 White 300zx TT )In Great Shape, 56,600 miles on it!
My Budget for the next 5 mo’s is $500 -$1,000. (Closer to $500 if I can do it!)

OK knowing this here we go, a month ago I was given this car and on father’s day given parts to be installed in it. My problem is that I know nothing about it except what I’ve read (bit & pieces”) here and on 300zx club. I finally found what I needed a book for dummy’s ( [ http://z31.com/faq/turbo.faq.shtml ] ) So I now know very little, I think I know the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 3 but I may be wrong. Before reading this I wanted to ask, but did not even know what to ask. Well now that I’m an expert on the subject here goes!

For father’s Day I was given by my son’s girlfriend (She paid) and my son (he got);
1: HKS Exhaust (model? (Don’t know) – back-ordered) (Stage 1- Right? (learning))
2: K&N Air Intake (FIPK) 90-93 300zx Turbo) ($135.14) From Steve Millen (Stage 2 ?)
Got it today! Still in the box, looks nice!
3: Wolf Tech ECU chip: (model ?(Don’t know) – back-ordered) (Stage 5- ?)
4: And a bottle of Scotch.

A: Now don’t I need ??? a lot of other stuff before putting in the Wolf Tech ECU?
After reading his web page?
• [3.0] STAGE III: BOOST CONTROLLER
• [4.0] STAGE IV: INTERCOOLER

B: Can I afford to put the other stuff in at this time?
C: What should I do? Please don’t tell me to drink the scotch, I all-ready started!

Please don’t kick me out for being so dumb (I only been into this car for really 3 weeks – try to remember back when you were a newbie too!)

Very much thanks to all of you, that helps me decide what to do in the next 5 months.
(Too bad the scotch won’t last 5 months!)
(Please help the newbie – but don’t drive me to drink!)
Make it simple “Please I’m getting drunk!”
Thanks; Jim
